This policy explains how Aawiz handles your personal data when you use the Aawiz app with Elin and this website. We wrote it to be read, not skimmed past. If anything is unclear, ask us.

2. What Aawiz is

Aawiz is an app with Elin, an AI you can talk to by voice or text at the end of your workday, plus short tools such as a mood check-in and a nightly unpack. Elin is an AI. She is not a person, not a therapist and not a medical service. Aawiz is for people aged 18 and over.

5. Why we use your data

We use your data only to run your account and to give you the service you signed up for, and we ask for your consent before using anything you share about how you feel. You can withdraw that consent at any time. We handle your data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

6. Where your data is stored

Your account, conversations, transcripts, check-ins and notes are stored in the European Union, with Microsoft Azure in the North Europe region (Ireland).

7. AI providers

To let Elin reply, your messages are sent to AI providers. They process your conversations only to generate Elin's replies and to pick out what Elin should remember. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU. You can ask us which providers we use and how data sent to them is protected.
